No idea why the cheapest one worked on cardputer, though.

yes Uiflow 2.0 web needs Uiflow 2.0 firmware inside controller.
@mnhj have you tried something simple first to start with it ?
@bdtprez general rule is to keep controller firmware same as web uiflow version, so current web uiflow 2.0 is 2.0.1 and such firmware is available via M5Burner, Uiflow 2.0 has build in firmware manager too. (botom left hand side).
usually when you press "burn" in M5Burner there is red button "erase" thats even without M5 module being detected, before com port selection
is NTP unit/module available in uiflow 2.0 blocks? can only see RTC in Hardware

New cable, same error. In fact, I just tested it on Fedora 39 (fresh installed), I still haven't been able to put the device in download mode. Maybe I'm forgetting a drive, which makes the device "recognize" the computer as a charger. Still, I reinstalled them all again, with no result.
I have M5Dial with StampS3 at the back...had to remove sticker to see and feel when "boot" button is pressed and hold before usb is plugged in - its almost hard to sense way different from pressing reset button where you can hear click.
With my Dial when say com13 was unresponsive then going in to boot mode made com12 to be available so in short words diff com for programming and different for boot mode - thats my experience with StampS3 from my M5Dial - i had it few times in some unresponsive mode.
Does UIFLOW supports Modbus TCP? Trying to read Modbus device (meter) over WiFi but all I can see is hardwired Modbus using UART on pins 17/16.

turn M5Dial off, disconnect usb, press and hold boot button at the back while connecting usb, release boot button, now you should see different com port detected an it should be accessible to erase/burn
@aiconnection I believe its something in relation to your other post here in this forum from days back, this post gives a bit more info on what you are trying to do but still lack of details, its hard to advice without knowing what type of hardware you want to use and how you planning to connect to it really.

can you read any modbus data from mentioned sensor using any of available modbus test tools? Just to confirm that communication to sensor over modbus is fine.
for start @GhostOfRain install m5burner, log in to your account, look for m5stickC Plus2 latest firmware, burn it to your device.
@aiconnection so your first task would be to read sensor data using Modbus in to M5Tough controller

so you need to see ESPHome for it.
@brunobeat Have you checked shared projects in Uiflow2 / project zone. There are some RFID examples maybe not with cardputer but you find some with M5Dial M5Core etc
@kawabatapaper when you have M5Burner open and you are connecting your M5Dial to usb are there any com ports detected - should be detection of 2 ports shown in top right hand corner for few seconds, first one is "hidden" boot com port used when rear boot button is held
