@mgrouch There are many ways.
My current method is to use Lego technic plates but there are 3d printed mounts or on boards.

You press the Atom BtnA (screen) and it will calibrate for 10 seconds, enough to do one axis at a time. You are best to calibrate the accelerometer, gyro and magnetometer separately for best results.

Personally I modified the example so that the calibration starts on press BtnA, and ends on the second press of BtnA. i.e. no 10 second countdown. This way I can take my time and calibrate all 3 axes of each sensor (accl, gyro, or mag) in one continuous movement.

I looked at the calibration code in m5unified library. It doesn't look right to me.
There is no sphere fit being performed. Only offset biases are estimated.

The latest image now has flutter-ui boatinstrument interface on hdmi port.

SignalK is available via web ui. As well as FreeboardSK and KIP dashboard.

After two reboots SD card partition is resized to max available space.

NMEA 2000 interface is ready. All you need to do is connect two wires.

Most of USB gps devices are recognized on plugging in automatically.

Image includes Victron Web UI as well.

Console access is available via USB-C port at
115200 bauds.

I do not see how. There are examples for displaying things on ILI9342C
using framebuffer and LVGL.
I do not see how to turn off backlight on ILI9342C. Is there some code example? Or command line utility with the code to control brightness? I was able to code that on m5stack tough on esp32 which has same ILI9342C.

Also how to wake up screen by touch?
I guess with brightness off touch functions are still there. So I need example of code listening for touch event and controlling backlight (voltage of it?) on ILI9342C.

well, you might notice the lowercase b in Gb which means it's 4 Gigabit (not 4 GigaByte). 1 byte equals 8 bits. So you'll need to divide the number by 8 if you want to convert Gigabit to GigaByte.

So about 462 MB (MegaByte) free seems plausible.
