M5StickC, macOS and USB-C to USB-C cable
-
If I connect my M5StickC to my Mac using a USB-C hub that provides USB-A ports, everything works as expected.
However, if I connect it directly to the MacBook Pro (running macOS Catalina and with the proper driver installed), the serial port is not even detected by the OS.
Is that expected? Or is there a newer driver available? (I'm using version 2.4.2 downloaded here)

There looks to be ongoing internal issues with OSX Catalina. if you have it working through a hub then continue to use the hub.
Unfortunately it looks like the issue is with Apple. -

@macsbug Thank you. I installed the update already, and it works (I no longer need to jump G0 to GND to flash). However, I still can't use a USB-C to USB-C cable directly, need to go through a USB-C hub.
