Can this pulse sensor https://www.amazon.com/Shuian-Consumption-Compatible-Raspberry-MAX30100/dp/B09NZPDWB2/ref=sr_1_8 be connected to the grove port on a Core 2?

You Will have to make you own wiring/cable , then if using Arduino programmering find a library supporting the sensor, upload example code and test it 😉 -

Yes you will need to make your own wiring harness but in UIFLow it should be directly compatible.
