M5Dial : M5Burner can't do Burn
-
I have a question about M5Dial.
I want to program with M5Dial, so I want to burn UIFlow2.0, but I get an error[Errno 13].
Is there anything I can improve?
Thank you for watching.

@kawabatapaper Have you put the Dial into Bootloader mode in order to enable firmware writing?
Have you checked your cables are good working Power and sync cables?
Have you connected the Dial to the computer?
You haven't provided enough information. -
@kawabatapaper M5Dial has little button at the back (hard to sense when is pushed in really)
This boot button have to be held pushed in while M5Dial is being connected to usb then let it go when com port detected. -
Thank you for your reply.
As you two advised, I tried pressing the button on the back while connecting to the USB and burning it, but I got the same error.
I tried cables M5StackCORE2 and M5Station just before and they connected without any problems. -
@kawabatapaper when you have M5Burner open and you are connecting your M5Dial to usb are there any com ports detected - should be detection of 2 ports shown in top right hand corner for few seconds, first one is "hidden" boot com port used when rear boot button is held

Even when connecting the M5Dial to USB while holding the rear boot button, only one COM port is displayed.
It’s unusual if two ports are not displayed, right?
