Try different cables. Not all cables are the same and some USBC cables don’t appear to work.
-
@ajb2k3 tried 4 different data cables, still same result. Do you think its defective or is it me?
-
Does Windows show any errors with the Com port?
-
@ajb2k3 when I do the reset with go and reset button before trying to burn it pops up a window show port5 then another saying port6. When I do anything after that it only gives option for port6 and nothing works on it
-
Does windows hardware manager or what ever its called show an error with the ports?
-
When in doubt, G0 and RST it out, hold G0 and tap RST and then let go of G0.
-
has anyone found a solution, i am having the same problem

@ROLF_STEINER
M5Stack documented this for each device. "Press G0 while booting...." or similar. Yes, I had problems too.
