How do I charge the Cardputer?

You just plug it into a usb power source and leave it

@robski Yeah, it sure looks like it's plugged in correctly. I also checked the pogo pins on the inside that connect the bottom half to the top half, and they seem to be outputting around 4v. I'll leave it connected to the charger for longer and see if it charges properly.

Well, I left it plugged in for 5 hours, and it's still showing as 75% charged. Anyone else have any ideas?

is it plugged in to "phone charger" or laptop/pc usb port?

I'm facing the same issue. I'm using a standard cellphone charger. Do I need to use a specific power source?

I am having the same problem. I just plugged it into a USB volt meter. When the power switch is off it draws .05 amps as compared to when the power switch is on, it draws .3 amps. I think the power switch needs to be on to charge.

A new battery may stay at 75% for a while as it take a few charge/discharge cycles for the power management chip to understand the battery.

Having the same issue. My guess is that the power management is not showing the correct charge level -- or that the level is correct because it hasn't been through a discharge/charge cycle yet.. Mine hovers around 78-80% after I've left it on my 30 watt USB charger for a while. I'm going to try to let it fully discharge and then charge again to see what happens.

Hello guys
my M5Cardputer takes about 7 hours for a full charge from a completely discharged battery state.
Note: I soldered two LEDs to the charger IC CHRG and STDBY outputs and it switched from charging to standby after about 7 hours.
Thanks

How exactly do I charge the M5 Cardputer, and does it come with a built-in charging indicator? I'm curious if there's an LED light or screen notification to show when it's charging or fully charged. Also, what should I look for to ensure it's properly connected to the USB-C cable, and are there any recommended practices for safely charging the internal battery? How long does it typically take to charge, and is there any way to monitor the battery level during use?

@JDEVW Got it! So, while there isn't a built-in charging indicator by default, you can monitor the battery voltage using G10 on the back of the M5Cardputer, and it's possible to add a custom indicator if needed. Thanks for pointing that out!

@ajb2k3 hello all!
Sadly I left Cardputer on my phone charger (which can charge my Z fold 5 in less than 2 hours) over night and not even 1% charged. Still 15%
Anny suggestion? -
@ivosak when you left it connected to charger was on/off button in ON position?
