Unreal power discharge / charge current
-
I have received a new m5stick-c from M5Stack Official Store and was shocked by unreal discharge and charge currents
There are 127 mA and 9 mA (from discharging state) in the official example
In my first m5stick-c there were 82 mA and 87 mA
Is anybody have an idea how to improve this terrible situation?!

I'm charging a battery for 2 hrs from off state already and vbat still 3.46V (((

@vvs551 I too have noticed similar low charge rates occasionally on my device as you have captured in the second of your pictures. I believe the M5StickC limits it's charge current when the temperature is excessive. I can see in the bottom picture your device is reporting a temperature of 61.3Deg C.

@multihelix
Why not, but .. why?? )
It's nothing doing in this sketch ) -
I made some tests: The discharge current depends on the Screen Brightness:
idischg: 42mA @ ScreenBreath(7)
idischg: 44mA @ ScreenBreath(8)
idischg: 51mA @ ScreenBreath(9)
idischg: 58mA @ ScreenBreath(10)
idischg: 65mA @ ScreenBreath(11)
idischg: 75mA @ ScreenBreath(12)
idischg: 90mA @ ScreenBreath(13)
idischg: 105mA @ ScreenBreath(14)
idischg: 116mA @ ScreenBreath(15)The charge current depends on the temperature:
icharge: 86mA @ 31°C
icharge: 86mA @ 44°C
icharge: 8mA @ 46°C
icharge: 8mA @ 48°C
icharge: 8mA @ 52°CA bright screen is heating up the Stick quite fast.
Hope that helps...

is that 86mA or 8.6mA as thats quite a jump?
BTW thanks for taking the time to do all this testing.
