The RZ7899 motor driver in Atom Motion appears to be operating in free-run mode (low torque, smooth) based on the motor voltage waveform, but I require the high-torque performance of brake mode for low-speed applications.

The RZ7899 datasheet indicates Finput=H and Binput=H activates the brake mode.

What is the best way to achieve brake mode operation?
Is it possible to achieve this by rewriting the STM32 firmware?
Is it possible to achieve this using extra discrete circuitry without changing the appearance?
Can this be changed within the user program?
