Support for EARTH unit on a PbHUB?

Is there a technical reason that the EARTH unit cannot be connected via a PbHUB? Or is it just not set up within UIFLOW 2? If the latter is the case, then are the settings/capabilities for units extensible? (EDIT: I am of course referring to support in Blockly).

Generally speaking, this situation is because the UiFlow2 driver does not support this Unit -
@kuriko So you are saying it is a software issue rather than hardware which seems to be the case to me. It would be really helpful to have access to the source for the unit classes so I could add functionality through inheritance.
