Audio In / Aux In / 3.5 mm In

I found many projects talking about audio out but there's very little on processing audio in, for example, I'd like to to take in an analog audio stream via a 3.5mm cable and send that out via webRTC to allow a user to listen to an audio stream via their phone's browser thus allowing the user to use their headphones to listen to that stream with very little latency. Very much, like Roku's private Listening feature but more open source and web-based. A grove module would be awesome.
