Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. Characterized by https://stemplus.clinic/disease-treatment/alzheimers-disease/ a steady decline in cognitive functions, AD deprives patients of their memory, thinking, and self-care abilities. Current treatments aim to alleviate symptoms but fail to halt or reverse the progression of the disease. In this challenging context, stem cell therapy (SCT) emerges as a promising approach, offering the potential to repair damaged neural connections and slow down the progression of AD.
