Founded in 2014 by veteran bus driver Nelson Smith, Student Transport was born out of a simple but critical need—comprehensive, consistent, and inclusive training resources for schools and their drivers. After recognizing gaps in available programs, Nelson, with the support of his family, created a customizable training system designed to guide new drivers every step of the way—from securing their permit to earning their full license.
At Student Transport, we believe safe, confident drivers create safer communities. Our program is built to be flexible, ensuring schools can adapt it to their unique needs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
