The battery died on my m5stack fire, so I grabbed the nearest usb-c cable and plugged in. Then I realised it was the cable for the LarkBox, which is 12V @ 2A. Now with a 5V supply connected, it won't power on. Can I assume I killed it? Does it go in the bin then?

I received my m5stack fire kit today, so I'm quite new to this. I wrote a program that shows whether or not the battery is charging (using power.isCharging()). If I run it with the USB connected to the Fire, it shows as charging. However, if I run it with the USB connected to the M5GO CHG Base, it does not show as charging. Is this expected?
