I am Jami Mays, and yep, I call Toronto home. I have lived here most of my life, and honestly, the city never really gets boring. There is always a new coffee shop popping up or some random street festival you just stumble into. I work as an academic writer, which basically means I spend a lot of time digging through research, pulling apart complex ideas, and trying to make them sound less terrifying for students. It is nerdy work, but I kinda love it especially when I am helping students strengthen their essays with clear structure and powerful conclusion starters that leave a lasting impression.
