My name is Avinash Angaria, I wanted to introduce a PhD Entrance Exam provide by DBU, Universities have in place an entrance test commonly referred to as the PhD entrance test that any student must sit before joining a doctoral program. This test is aimed at checking the amount of knowledge a candidate has about his choice of field, as well as his/her problem solving skills and the ability to do the research independently. Based on my research, the format of the entrance test for the PhD program can also differ in various universities but could entail subject knowledge questions and questions concerning research ability.. High scorers for this test may proceed to the next stages, such as face-to-face interviews or research focus group discussions.
