Consider one of the many modules for M5Stack - "LORA" (Fig. 1). Buy it now on Aliexpress
Figure 1. The LORA module to the base and terminating modulesThis module is a plastic frame is blue, which are fastened by means of screws special printed circuit Board (Fig. 2) with two connectors 2 on 15, the antenna and the wireless module LORA Ra-02 (Fig. 3).
On the frame on the right side (Fig. 4) embossed inscription LORA and seizure under a flat-blade screwdriver for easy removal of a module, because due to connector 2 of 15 modules are kept pretty tight.
This module is designed to organize low-speed data transmission at frequencies 410-525 MHz at a relatively large distance from 1 (within city limits) to 10 km (in open areas) with low power consumption.

@dimi Any plan for supporting 915MHz?
-
915 and 868 are designing, we are testing the antenna.
-
@m5stack so what's up on the testing?
-
1 to 10 miles on low power? What are the applications? (besides decentralized internet ;)
-
@daslolo km not miles. And there are plenty of applications for long distance comms.
-
Is this module compatible with Sim800L?
Both use GPIO-5. -
Hi X-Dron,
As you suspect, apparently this is a problem.... they need to be using different pins. -
Hi
Is there any update on the new 868 and 915 modules.
Just waiting for them.... :P
