When I query my AI-8850 module, it reports itself as an AX650N.

Can someone provide more details on this?

      axcl-smi sh cat /proc/ax_proc/version -d 0
      axcl-smi sh cat /proc/ax_proc/uid -d 0
      axcl-smi sh cat /proc/ax_proc/board_id -d 0

Is the AX8850 the same chipset? Does it have the same performance?

Its not the same chipset but uses the same software. When I display my AX8850 it says AX650N. Did you get it to run with a model?

@brian111 Both ax8850 and ax650n are not the identical SoC, but shares the same software stack. Make sure you use the ax650n documentation for development.
