Check your usb cable, sometimes the cables dont work.

Thinking more about it. Its probably that when the Fire is fully assembled it requires a stronger WiFi signal, perhaps due to the proximity of the other components.

@mikey-wetzel You can program in C using the espressif or Arduino but you will need to create your own wifi connect routines

Hi @tkl can you communicate with the device over serial when the usb cable is attached. Which version of the M5stack are you using? fire, gray, basic? have you tried other usb cables?

I'll try that when I get home, The m5burner from the m5stack download page. also has a check psram option and that showed this, maybe handy for people in the feature that want to check if it is working. [image: 1548154647561-img_20190121_235152-resized.jpg]

@clause4 You need click "Library Manager" on Arduino IDE
